XGSPON OLT-2XGS-WDM

The AirLive XGSPON OLT-2XGS-WDM is a recently launched XG(S)-PON OLT that caters to new optical fiber communication networks. It conforms to international standards like ITU-T G.9807 (XGS-PON) and ITU-T G.987 (XG-PON) and supports two bandwidth access modes: 1. Asymmetric mode with 2.5Gbps upstream and 10Gbps downstream speed, and 2. Symmetrical mode with 10Gbps upstream and downstream speeds. It also supports ITU-T G.984 (GPON). For flexible network deployment, the OLT supports WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, enabling coexistence and simultaneous service delivery of both GPON and XG(S)-PON on the same fiber infrastructure when using the appropriate optical modules and splitters. This makes it an ideal fit for high-bandwidth scenarios such as carrier networks, FTTx, and enterprise networks.

The compact 1U chassis of the XGSPON OLT-2XGS-WDM makes it easy to deploy. Its Broadcom + NXP chipset solution ensures a robust performance. The XGSPON OLT-2XGS boasts many ports, providing 2GE (RJ45) + 210GE (SFP+) uplink ports for full line-speed data forwarding. It also offers 2 XG(S)-PON downlink interfaces with a splitting ratio of 1:128 to access the user's ONT. This device is designed for use in FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) and small business applications that require the new higher data transfer speeds. To use XG/XGS-PON, an XG/XGS-PON SFP+ module is needed; to use GPON, a GPON SFP module is required. The OLT operates in a single PON mode (GPON or XG or XGS) per port, but thanks to WDM, it supports seamless coexistence with legacy GPON services on shared infrastructure.
